African Black soap hand made in small batches by village women in Ghana, West Africa. The women use an age old traditional recipe with pure shea butter and lye produced from the ashes of plantain skins and cocoa pod. The soap contains 50 per cent pure shea butter and there are no chemicals added such as preservatives, colour enhancers, or fragrances. This soap is very mild and great for dry, sensitive skin.
